My first time in the Powerade State Games was a success. We came home undefeated (3-0) with a gold medal. Playing with these talented girls helped me become a better player. I got the opportunity to play against a semi-professional women's soccer team, The Charlotte Eagles, and I was able to learn the different styles of play that other talented girls have. Learning to play with a new team in a few days was definitley a challenge, but the experience shaped me into a better player.
